Training Academy
We train our own technicians — because you can't hire your way to consistent quality.
Our in-house academy runs a structured apprenticeship: classroom fundamentals, supervised field rotations, and a graduated sign-off process before any technician works unsupervised in a customer's home.
Experienced technicians aren't done learning either. Every field employee completes ongoing hours each year on refrigerant regulation changes, heat pump commissioning, combustion analysis and airflow diagnostics.
The program
Level 1 — Fundamentals
Electrical theory, refrigeration cycle, tools, jobsite safety and customer communication.
Level 2 — Supervised field
Ride-along rotations across maintenance, repair and install crews with structured skill sign-offs.
Level 3 — Diagnostics
Charge verification, static pressure, combustion analysis and systematic troubleshooting.
Level 4 — Certification
EPA 608 and independent technician certification, plus manufacturer-specific training.
Continuing education
Annual required hours on code updates, new refrigerants and heat pump technology.
Mentorship
Every apprentice is paired with a senior technician for their first full year.
